Our History

After 20 years of selling pianos and organs for New England’s largest dealership Jay & Kay decided to open a store of their own. In July of 1991 they approached the Baldwin Piano company for a dealership and were awarded the South West Florida territory.

A year later they opened a second store in the Metro mall

Two Years later opening another store in Naples.

In 1995 the building that currently houses Jay & Kay’s became available. It was BIG space, and in a good location with lots of parking.  The only problem was that in a year the town would start building the Rt. 41 overpass, a two year construction project. Knowing this Jay & Kay offered a long term lease at half the going rate. The building sat empty for a year before the landlord agreed to the terms. It was then decided to move all the inventory into one location.

With an average inventory of over 150 instruments in stock and on display, Jay & Kay’s now offered a better selection than the next three dealerships combined.
